From the moment I spoke with Caitlynn on the phone, I knew that I would absolutely love working with her. Caitlynn had me crying and laughing as early as our initial phone consult. Seriously- I was in the middle of shopping for art supplies at Blick (what else is new… haha!) and in the span of our call I just so fiercely hoped for the opportunity to meet her. She shared her story of a great tragedy that happened in her life, and how she channeled her grief into taking care of herself. Together we celebrated her strength and created just the most beautiful images to document this time in her life. Caitlynn, I know that I have told you so many times already- but I so admire and respect you. I can’t thank you enough for trusting in Savannah Boudoir Photography to see your vision come to life. These images reflect not just strength but joy and confidence. I hope that you see that, too. ❤️
I asked Caitlynn a few questions about her experience to give a little insight to those of you who may be considering joining in on the fun!
Callie: Were you nervous to do a boudoir session?
Caitlynn: I was super nervous when I first started considering doing a boudoir shoot, but the first phone call I had with Callie had me so excited!! I could tell that she was going to make this such a fun experience. It was such an awesome opportunity to step out of my comfort zone.
How did you feel when you first saw your images?
Words can’t even describe!! My photos made me feel so confident!
What is your favorite thing about working with Savannah Boudoir?
Callie is just simply amazing. She made the process so great. From scheduling, helping me figure out wardrobe, the actual session, then picking out photos for my album. She is so down to earth and seriously makes you feel like a million bucks.
What would you say to someone who is considering a boudoir shoot? And maybe if they are nervous?
I would say “stop thinking about it and just do it!! You will NOT regret it! We need to remember to celebrate our bodies, and this is the perfect way to do it. It’s completely natural to be nervous (I for sure was… I am so camera shy” but just give it a chance, and I’m sure you’ll love it, just as I did.”
How was your experience getting dolled up with Hustle & Blow Dry Bar?
Great!! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I’ve never gotten dolled up for a photo shoot but they listened to exactly what I wanted and far exceeded my expectations! I wish I had them everyday!
What are some words that you would use to describe how you felt when we were photographing you?
Beautiful. Confident. Sassy.
